Titanic. The Human Story

Titanic. The Human Story arrives at Walsh Bay Arts Precinct on 30 May.

The Titanic

Titanic. The Human Story arrives at Walsh Bay Arts Precinct on 30 May. Transforming the Pier 2/3 Event Space into an interactive exploration of the Titanic’s true stories, this will be a journey into one of the modern world’s enduring tragedies. Embark on an immersive trip through time, bringing you closer to the myths, stories and true history of the Titanic.

Created by Musealia and historian and Titanic expert Claes-Göran Wetterholm,  the exhibition features more than 300 original objects and separates fact from fiction as never before. The multi-lingual audio guide brings historical accounts to life with music, sound effects and testimonies from passengers and crew.

Travel back to 1912 through photographs, handwritten letters, keepsakes and other personal belongings telling countless stories about fates and heroic deeds on board. Recreated interiors demonstrate the stark contrast between a lavish first-class suite and a humble third-class cabin.

Titanic. The Human Story is ideal for families, school visits, seniors groups, large groups and private and corporate events. Mark the occasion with a visit to one of Walsh Bay Arts Precinct’s many restaurants and cafes.

Titanic. The Human Story opens on 14 May. Find more information at the titanic exhibition website.
